Civility and 309 mass shootings to date...

https://t.co/rSpMcCJkOd

There are ways to avoid the senseless acts of hate we see now daily in our society. In watching a news interview on NBC, Dr. Lieberman noted with the dismissal of Roe by the Supreme Court that guns have more rights than women do over their own bodies (2022.07.05). It would seem we are regressing in our social evolution, not towards peace but to violence to get noticed.

This is evidenced in the loss of civility in public discourse. This starts in the home or workplace and has an immediate effect. Respect is better for us and good for business... https://www.ted.com/talks/christine_porath_why_being_respectful_to_your_coworkers_is_good_for_business

Think about being kind and what it costs, little. The damage of violence goes further than the victims on the receiving end, but to the families and society in general. Let us be mindful of that and look to building better sustainable and peaceful interactions with each other!
