My name is Jeff Sparling

I am a certified teacher (semi-retired), PhD student, grandfather of three boys, father of two daughters, an immigrant, and much more.  I have lived in Michigan since middle school, after living in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Ontario. 

I am active in environmental causes, like the Climate Action Committee, Food and Water Action, the Audubon Society, and others.  I believe it is good to consider future needs as well as preserve nature as much as possible.  Say no to any form of Line 5 pipe or tunnel! Save the Porkies from hazardous mining! Promote clean fuels and encourage plug in solar!
