Take a moment to see where we are on climate issues. Here is a snippet from the Atlantic today about what the democrats have failed at again, getting legislation that moves us ahead in seeking a better environment.
"So America’s climate negligence endures. The country’s failure on this front underlies its greater abdication of moral leadership in the world. That is not just due to Senator Manchin’s negligence, of course. It is also the collective responsibility of the Republican Party, whose 50 senators are even more resolutely against investing in clean energy than he is." Joe Manchin just betrayed America’s energy future. Robinson Meyer, The Atlantic <weeklyplanet@theatlantic.com> Jul 15, 2022
The much-touted plans for green reform are dashed, looking at short-term issues over life on our planet. This is yet another reason we need Green Party successes in the November elections. While we are not a major political power, YET, we can have an influence. We can make a difference with one senator -- preferably taking Mr. Manchin's seat.
If you wish you could vote Green, then do it. If you want to vote Green, do it. If you want a better world in which to live VOTE GREEN!
